Privacy Policy for OmniNote

This Privacy Policy explains how OmniNote ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app. OmniNote is a notes application published under package name com.pro100soft.omninote.

We built OmniNote to keep your notes on your own device by default, and to give you control over any data that ever leaves it. This policy describes exactly what that involves.

1. Information We Collect

OmniNote collects the following types of information:

• Notes and folders content — the text, checklists, drawings, and audio recordings you create. This data is stored locally on your device by default and is never sent to us or to any server we operate.
• Google account information — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture through Google's Credential Manager sign-in system. This information is used only to display your signed-in status inside the app and is not sent to any server we operate.
• Google Drive access — if you choose to back up your notes, the app requests limited Google Drive permission (drive.file scope). This scope only allows the app to create, read, and delete files that the app itself created on your Drive — it cannot access any other files in your Google Drive account.
• Advertising identifiers — the app displays ads served through third-party advertising and mediation partners (via the Unity LevelPlay mediation platform, which may include partner networks such as Google AdMob and others). These partners may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and usage data to serve and measure ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
• Attribution and anti-fraud data — the app uses AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution and analytics platform, to measure how users discover the app (for example, through an advertising campaign) and to detect fraudulent installs and clicks. AppsFlyer may collect device identifiers, IP address, and general device/usage information for this purpose, in accordance with the AppsFlyer Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Information

• Notes content is used solely to display and let you edit your own notes on your own device.
• Google account information is used to show your sign-in state and to authorize backup/restore operations with your Google Drive.
• Google Drive access is used exclusively to upload, list, and download backup files that you explicitly create or restore inside the app.
• Advertising identifiers are used by our advertising partners to serve and measure ads within the app.

We do not sell your data. We do not have our own backend server that stores your notes — your notes remain on your device and, if you choose to back them up, on your own Google Drive account.

3. Data Security

OmniNote allows you to protect individual text notes with a password. When enabled, the content of that note is encrypted on your device using AES-GCM encryption before it is stored, and cannot be read without the correct password — including if the underlying app files are accessed directly. We do not store your password; it is used locally to derive an encryption key and is never transmitted anywhere.

Backups uploaded to Google Drive are transmitted using Google's secure APIs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

To delete your account access and associated data:

• Revoke OmniNote's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access . This immediately removes the app's access to your Google profile information and Google Drive.
• Delete any backup files stored on your Google Drive directly at drive.google.com at any time.
• Delete any note or folder at any time from within the app.
• Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored notes, settings, and cached data from your device.

Since OmniNote does not operate its own backend server or store any account data outside of your device and your own Google Drive, revoking Google access and uninstalling the app together constitute full account and data deletion. 5. Children's Privacy

OmniNote is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.

6. Third-Party Services

OmniNote uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Sign-In / Credential Manager — Google Privacy Policy

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
